Our Story

Here at Insomnipawz, we care about pets so much that we would want them to have the same luxuries in life as us humans. Sleep is a major part of all our lives and we all love to be comfortable in our own sleep sanctuary so much so, we spend a lot of money in the search for that 5-star hotel comfort in our own private homes. 

So why should our loved furry kids not want that same luxury? After all, if you’re a pet parent, you’ll know that if the fur babies have a good night sleep, so do we!...

Billy & Rufus

We as the founders of Insomnipawz are true animal lovers... and in fact throughout this website and our associated social media, you’ll often see this cheeky lovely pair.

May I introduce Billy, he’s a 13 year old male Shih-Tzu. He loves walks, cuddles and seduces you with his big beautiful eyes for the slightest chance of a piece of sausage or biscuit. Billy was the reason we first found the idea for the calming beds after a few restless nights of tropical thuderous storms, we tried this idea... he took to it and slept the whole night peacefully thereafter.

Last but no means least, his partner in crime.. Rufus.

He’s an 8 year old Shih-Tzu cross Bulldog. When he was a puppy, he had an infection that meant an operation left him with one eye. This adds to his eccentric character and loves nothing more than climbing into his calming ped bed sanctuary to snooze and watch the birds fly past through the windows overlooking Hong Kong’s busy harbour. 

Whenever he’s not up to tricks, you’ll find him snoring in bed. He’ll feature often online with Insomnipawz.
